Grimme Perils Character Sheet Reveal!

Image
As Grimme Perils inches closer to layout, I think we're far enough along to start showing off some of its amazing visual style. I have always found that the window into the "soul" of any RPG is its character sheet.  The sheet shows a player what the game values, how complex it likely is, and what sort bookkeeping you will need to do to play it.  Todd and I have worked at this as play-tests have moved along, and this is pretty close to its final iteration, and I love it! You can download it here . GP will be a 6" x 9" book, so the sheet is designed for that tighter profile.  Over the next couple of weeks, Todd will start the layout and I will slowly show off more of the interior art, and climax the preview party with Brian "Glad" Thomas' supremely cool cover.  Stay tuned, and thanks for reading!  --Scott

Northstar Military Figures Cultists!

Image
I have been writing like mad on my fantasy RPG, Grimme Perils . I took the bones of 2d Delves and hammered it into the fantasy TTRPG that has all of the things I want to see in such a game.  A lot comes from my two years running Shadowdark RPG , but also from all of the games I have enjoyed playing over the years, including Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play and Call of Cthulhu . It's no secret I love using minis in my games, and I needed a couple of groups of rival cultists for some games I have planned, so I cranked out seven Northstar Cultists in white to go against the seven I have already done in black.  These figures are amazing! Especially Cultists II. They just keep getting better with each release.  Mostly Cultists II models, but with two from Cultists I thrown in.   As Grimme Perils gets closer to going to layout, I will start posting more on it, and sharing some of the amazing new artwork I have commissioned for it.  Stay tuned!  --Scott
