Wargames Atlantic Villagers

As I work to finish the Grimme Hack RPG, I got inspired to paint up some of Wargames Atlantic's awesome new Fantasy Villagers. 

This kit is really fun, and I am excited to build the next sprue of six in a completely different manner. 

I also painted a Reaper Pack Mule. 

Not sure if this is Bones Black, Reaper USA, or what. 

Used a combo of Speed Paint and normal acrylics. 

Some day I will have to do a post on my massive collection of fantasy / historical civilians. I can populate several small towns or one large city. What I need WG to do is a set of hard plastic kids for D&D style games. Add it to the list, WG!

    Looks nice, handy addition to the painted figure roster. One of WGA's better kits IMO.

    The Reaper fig is sold as a pack donkey, and as far as I can see only exists in Bones White (or Classic, or New Hope or whatever we're supposed to call it these days) and the original metal sculpt. I've painted the Bones version multiple time for resale, usually bundled with their "grizzled prospector" fig.

      Thanks! The Donkey pictured was a gray plastic, so perhaps they're transitioning some models to other materials? Not sure. I will have to look out for that prospector!

The Return of SuperFigs?

 Well, maybe. The last year or so I have been quietly working with a talented digital sculptor who approached me about redesigning the SuperFigs line as STL files. It's been 24 years since the release of the first SuperFigs, and I just can't believe it.  So he has been slowly beavering away at figures who strike his fancy. And I am content to let the process play out and see where it goes. There's no deadline. No release date. Yeah, I make a lot of super games...

     Artwork by Jan Annarella.  I make a lot of super games because I love the genre and I love tinkering with different mechanics and dice systems.  I figure that if you also like super games, one of my rule sets might be for you! That's why a couple of years ago I published the FCS Guide to Super Gaming .
